The Western Pennsylvania Field Day Association (W.P.A.F.D.A.) is a community resource group comprised of a small number of Federal Communications Commission licensed amateur radio operators dedicated to providing volunteer disaster preparedness and emergency public communication services throughout the western Pennsylvania area.

This year marks our 50th Anniversary! This "Golden Anniversary" also marks our 50th year of participation in the A.R.R.L. Field Day Exercise! As such, we will be using the Special Event Call Sign W3W, as we attempt to contact as many other stations as we can from June 16, through the Field Day Exercise. Stations contacting us can also request a special confirmation QSL card as part of our anniversary celebration!
